L.BOW GREASE
Handmade acoustic music that bridges the gap between celtic and american folk with a mix of traditional material and modern popsongs. No longer a well- kept secret, L.BOW GREASE are about to release their third album this fall. Dave Jackson and Guntmar Feuerstein have known each other for over 25 years. Dave came across from England in the seventies and wrote the world hit "Blame it on the Boogie" for Michael Jackson. Guntmar composed, wrote and sang with the popband "Strandjungs" and helped them get into the german charts back in the eighties.
On stage Dave Jackson and Guntmar Feuerstein perform their music together with Sascha "Salossi" Loss on fiddle and harp and double bass player Alexandra Krings.
Their CDs "Greased Lighting" and "Picking on the Porch" are packed full of surprises with foot stompin´ bluegrass numbers and sentimental love songs along with "tounge-in-cheek" music- hall pieces, versitile old time tunes and moving folk- songs.
